How much do you make on average by day trading?

Do you have your daily goal?

 

I do, but it's not an income goal (and I wouldn't discuss the amounts in a public forum, even if it were).

My goal is to trade a minimum of 12 full days per month (which I always exceed), and during those hours to take reliably, accurately and consistently all the trading set-ups that the market produces for me in accordance with my trading plan.

If I can do that reliably, it's proven and factual that the income will take care of itself over the long-term, and the long term is all that matters. A specific daily "income goal" wouldn't be helpful to me at all, because I can't directly control that, and don't pretend to: I prefer goals whose outcomes I can be fully responsible for.

 

Don't have a "daily goal", but in my best years have averaged about $15,000 per-trading-day (for the 252 trading days of the year), and I'm strictly a "price TA" player.

(I know this is going to infuriate some TA haters... )

 

why?

 

In trading forums some people, for a variety of reasons, habitually react to the reported successes of "price TA traders" - of whom I'm also one - with hostility, resentment and aggressive (or sometimes passive-aggressive) behavior.

 

On other sites, they argue that the earth is flat and the moon landing was staged.

 

Those who understand "proper TA" usually say, "why would a trader use anything other"? While those who never figured out TA claim, "it doesn't work.. and those who claim it does are charlatans."

One of those 2 groups is dead wrong!

It took me years to distill all of it down to "what actually works". While sometimes annoying to execute, it's virtually FOOL PROOF! (unless the trader screws it up, of course)

Suck on THAT notion, you TA haters!! Ha!

"Moon landing was staged"... might be correct. Seems I read something supposedly claimed by famous director Stanly Kubrick that the "moon landing WAS staged, and he filmed it"... and then was forced to sign a non-disclosure-agreement.

Considering (1) the political pressures of the Cold War, (2) JFK's announced "man on the moon by the end of the decade", and (3) the likelihood of that being accomplished by "JFK's stated deadline"... to learn "the moon landing" (supposed) was all false wouldn't surprise me one bit.

When it comes to our lying, self-serving, power-hungry government, is any lie or atrocity really beyond the pale? Who knows??

 

And I read somewhere that Stanley Kubrick was really Marlene Dietrich in drag.

 

Considering their age difference, not likely.

Now as far as Angela Merkel being Hitler's illegitimate daughter... that's a different story.
