I am trying to build a strategy and this might help. How many points would nasdaq futures have to go up to result in a $1 up move in the QQQs? It seems like it might be 41. So if naz futures go up 41 points the QQQs would rise $1? Is this way off?
1 point = 2.5 cents 40 points = 1$ The 41 you calculated is from the included risk-free interest rate and dividend.
Stat arb by chance? That space is already overcrowded. Better to leave that to the faster algos with deep pockets.
NQ on top, QQQ in middle, Spread Ratio indicator on bottom - reading between 41.496-41.485 other than that one spike to 41.513:- Note: looking back only a few days I see ratio can vary "a bit". The week before on Dec 29th range was 41.564 to 41.547
