... some of the dumb asses stop saying the virus is fairly harmless, a hoax, political, ... . What is the number ? What if 5000 die a day in a week ? Is that a meaningful number ? It's unreal how long this charade has gone on. This constant noise of denial and over thinking it is not good for your country. It encourages people to act badly at the expense of everyone else.

I like how they chastise protesters in cities/states they don't even live in as terrorist bringing Armageddon deserving of indiscriminate federal fusillade.

    Fixed that for you.

Of course old people in care homes are not the only ones who are dying, but my point is it not at the expense of everyone else like you said. It is at the expense of just 0.5% of the population.

So your answer to 1100 Covid deaths a day in the US is half of them are "faked" ? Come on now. That still leaves 550 "real" Covid deaths.

  7. Maybe not 550, maybe none?

    Overnight

If I get into a motorcycle accident and get a compound fracture, I am admitted to the hospital. While I am there, I contract the flu and the Covid virus. I develop pneumonia.

I also contract and succumb to sepsis and die from heart failure.

So...from which complication did I die? Well, we have to count out heart failure, because that is the correct answer. What is left? Sepsis, pneumonia, or Covid?

Bottom line is any state or country that allows the Covid virus to go out of control is in for a world of hurt for at least a month. All these details hardly matter. If Canada has say 4 Covid related deaths in a day, and the US has 1100, does it matter if that number is 200, 500, 1100, or 3000 ? It's still too many. Although it seems 1100 is stressing the facilities and 3000 might have some adverse impacts of a more shocking nature. Like when NYD had to set up instant mortuaries outside of some hospitals. People on here seem to have to have the impact in their face to acknowledge it..

There's a guy on here from the UK denying the virus as a real threat despite the UK having terrible numbers. Today I read that due to inadequate medical supplies 300 medical personnel died with Covid in the UK. Beyond that being a tragedy it points out that there are real victims that had plenty of life left and plenty to offer society. Some asshole on here preaching denials doesn't mitigate this tragedy.
