I used to think this was a cute thing when I saw the one on rotary phones. Now I think it is a fake show. https://uncrate.com/video/kids-react-to-the-first-ipod/ Are kids these days that bloody stupid that they can't figure these things out? Do they not read manuals? (Oh, wait, manuals aren't included with electronic products these days.) But at least in the old days you could figure stuff out by examining items and not blabbering. I guess I chalk that up to the production team for not giving them a chance. Yes? No?
I've seen this series of videos, it's adorable and hilarious. One of the videos featured a bunch of kids reacting to being given a vintage walkman. It was priceless.
There's a video on Facebook floating around where a dad is asking his sons how they would listen to a cassette tape. It's hilarious because they have no idea that it has to be put in a walkman to listen too it.
That reminds of the video I saw of a toddler being given an old Game Boy, desperately pressing at the screen instead the buttons and not understanding why nothing moves. Each child (or an adult, for that matter), is a product of their time. If you give me an old reel to reel tape recorder I too would probably be pretty confused how to operate it.
