with so much volatility and crazy selloffs how the hell do people hold overnight in this kind of market?
are you just better at entries where you have more cushion to exit when needed or something else?
every time i try i get fcked by scalpers no matter what price range i buy.

is scalping the name of the game this year?

ialso heard that institutional traders and algos are starting to creep into small trader stocks because they are getting better at programming their algos to trade against scalpers is this true?

    For goodness sake, go try

    Day trading
    Swing trading
    High frequency trading
    Low frequency trading
    Algo trading
    HODL investing....

And see which works for you.

If none works, then it simply means you have to give up trading forever and ever, till end of time

Why do my posts trigger you so much?
the point of the forums is to ask questions to understand something better.
If you dont like answering same questions from everyone then dont be on forums

im sure its true. The death of the retail trader will be when it becomes easy for a “small strategies” PM at citadel manage all the capacity constrained stuff that we survive on.

Your first question: Options (or other derivatives) to customize exposure to tail events and/or adequate position sizing. E.g. buying ITM calls. Or if your stock is less than 5% of your portfolio you probably don't care if it goes to zero overnight.
