Looking for medium-term investment advice, e.g. buying shares of promising companies cheap while the companies are unknown, then selling them in a year or two when they are next Facebook and getting super-duper rich. How do you learn about such opportunities? What news sources do you guys watch regularly and use as guidance for your medium-term investment?
The latest I saw...1/3 of all business transactions (in the US) were made by private equity firms/wealth management companies. It is not like the older days. You have hundreds of companies throwing money at the next Amazon, Facebook. The next company is very very hard to find. I look (many times) at the top ten list of these closed end ETFs...The Royce Family of Funds. They find well run companies, that have found a niche in a market. They are growing and usually have good income. One in a hundred is a "real" winner...The rest are just chugging along, making money. Take a peek and tell me what looks good!! It will take you about 20 hours, just to narrow it down to about 5 companies... https://www.royceinvest.com/
