I've been doing this for a long long time. I suspect it may be why I haven't had the flu in thirty years and it's been 4 years since I've had a cold.
AH --HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA CDC urges labs to use COVID tests that can differentiate from flu Laboratories have until the end of the year to make changes to their testing practices https://www.foxnews.com/health/cdc-labs-covid-tests-differentiate-flu The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) urged labs this week to stock clinics with kits that can test for both the coronavirus and the flu as the "influenza season" draws near.
So once again let's provide the proper context. The current COVID PCR tests used in the United States are based on the original genome sequencing formula provided by the CDC to companies; the scope was very limited to the original COVID. There are now PCR capabilities available which not only can detect COVID -- but many different types of COVID plus variants of the Flu. These tests provide a much broader capability in testing -- and avoid false negatives. These tests also mean that an individual would not have to get one test for COVID and a second test for the flu. And let's make it clear -- this required upgrade from the CDC is to avoid false negatives from PCR testing, not false positives. Claims that these COVID PCR tests were giving false positives on the flu and the number of COVID cases are greatly inflated due to it are absolutely false.
So you admit then that not all Wuhan positives were actually for Wuhan. -Many were actually influenza.
As noted by the CDC the issue was NOT false positives from the flu. It was false negatives when COVID was not detected. Maybe it is time you stopped promoting false nonsense.
