AT&T is using Reno as a trial market to place a surcharge on dsl data usage over a certain level. Does anyone have experience with finding the total volume of "bytes/month" that one is downloading from the internet? If this idea takes hold I wonder how much it will cost for traders who have AT&T and monitor markets 24/7. The first link is an AP story. The second is a web page that has some software that might let me monitor usage. Anybody have any experience with this? http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/081104/tec_at_t_internet_caps.html?.v=2 http://dsl-data-meter.qarchive.org/
It varies according to the speed level one has a subscription for. My limit is 60Gb. If I upgrade to a 6Mb dsl then it would be 80Gb
