My daughter says she is going to home school her kids because her teachers were a bunch of stupid goons. She's right of course. Todays teachers are brainwashed leftist nut jobs with no intelligence at all.

Highly doubt these are public school teachers since the first one said she WAS a teacher and the other one said she is an elementary school teacher but is free balling about what she wants to teach. No school would allow that....probably some yuppie charter school for the rich and pussy
This isn't the first example I've seen of this, so I don't doubt it at all. I may wish it weren't true,. But that's not the same thing.
There is online K-12 for free. There's the Khan Academy, also for free. Just spit balling... but instead of sending your kid to college* to be Lefty brainwashed for $50K/year... have him learn a little math and English online... Spanish and Mandarin, too. Don't you think someone so educated could find a good job? *or even instead of high school
If we assume 50% of the population is conservative and GOP....how were they able to go to school and college and not get brainwashed then.... it kind of defeats your argument when you claim universities lefty brainwash people and then tune in to all your favorite conservative politicians and talk show hosts who.....went to university.
I'm not sure you can make this kind of a statement of certainty. Not all people who go to universities are indoctrinated. The majority certainly are.
Then you cannot make the statement that the majority are with any certainty as well. Conservatives and Liberals alike go to college and we have a two party system and given the voting in this country they are split by population (as evidenced by the electoral college). So how could the majority, whatever that is, with certainy be brainwashed. You are implying that liberals come into college as conservatives and are brainwashed to switch or come in with an empty mind and ar ebrainwashed to believe in an ideal. Not sure you respect high schoolers enough to know many come into college with their own beliefs and either add to them or understand both sides better. Many colleges have Dem and GOP organizations and although some colleges are famous for liberal teaching (UC Berkley) I do know of some conservatives who went there and due to their brains, they were not brainwashed. It is just a bias against universities really rather than a certain fact to say they are all brainwashed.
