Home Depot in the lefty crosshairs.

  1. Of course it must be brought down.

Home Depot is a place where people go when they are about to do some real work - either as a contractor or a homeowner. That's shiite that only deplorables do. So obviously the business owners would not be voting dem.

Just keep listening to AOC and you will be getting your health care and your plumbing supplies down at the DMV- where people really know how to take care of bidness without getting into that capitalist stuff.

Nevermind that Bernie Marcus retired from Home Depot long ago. Not sayin that he does not still walk, talk, and speak Home Depot every day but he is a private citizen so it is not as though Home Depot has endorsed Trump.

  2. This could backfire. People who shop at HD and Lowes would probably be Trump's core supporters.

It is interesting that now merely supporting reelection of the president is grounds for your company to be ruined. Maybe we should start applying that to the entertainment business.

  3. Not a surprise.

Dems believe, "EVERYTHING that does not conform to the Lefty platform needs to be destroyed". (Sounds radical? Radical yes, but nothing new. It's been the "way" of Leftism throughout history and across the world. And for those who are most dense and can't tell "come here from sic 'em"... Hitler and Stalin were the ultimate Leftists!)

  4. Don't believe the hype....people who like Home Depot are really not going to stop shopping there because the owner is going to endorse Trump, it is just typical of social media.

There are 150 million consumers in the U.S. but 20 people go on twatter or instafuck about boycott this or douche that and people retwat or refuck and it goes "viral" but there is no meat at all there. I seriously doubt HD or Lowe's is going to have any real customer defections.

Just like Chik-Fil-A, lot of social media "outrage" but no one is going to walk away from that fucking chickin...

We are in the age of hyperbole and social media just magnifies it for a week and then goes away.

  6. All that will be fixed when the lefties move Home Depot, your doctor's office, and you favorite little taco truck down to the DMV to have them bring their management skills and keen sense of customer service to those businesses.

Regardless of who the CEO supports, he needs to shut the F up and stay out of public politics discussions. The stock holders of his company don't pay him to get involved in politics.

If he retired, he needs to stay out of it for the sake of his former business and his successor. This is the agreed deal he took for being so well compensated.

  8. Within reason but I am not sure that revealing who you support for president 15 years after retiring is all that dicey or shocking. Howard Shultz supports the dem candidate. So what.

And I dont know what contractual deal he had upon leaving. Plenty of CEO's leave disgruntled and speak out, and plenty leave happy and speak out. Probably both routes end out pissing a lot of people off. Good. Same with people who leave government. Say what you gotta say: good, bad, or ugly- hopefully true and sincere though. If ten senior execs at Facebook go rogue and leave tomorrow, fine. Don't give a fuck about their stock.

Depends on how high profile you are. If you're always out there as the face for Home Depot, pushing the business in the public light, and you were once the CEO, then you should think about what your support will do to your champion company and successor.

If no one remembers who you are, maybe this is less a concern.

But if you take the risk and get burned, you have no one to blame but yourself.

  10. It appears the Whiteys are upset that the Left has the power to bend companies to their will. I think the Whiteys should take a look at who runs the largest companies of not only today but of tomorrow and realize the Left's power will really grow once they lock down all levels of govt. And that will happen due to demographics.
