Hollywood’s newest billionaire:For three months,Tyler Perry lived out of his car as he tried to produce a play at a community theater in Atlanta. “I love when people say you come from ‘humble beginnings,’” he says. “[It] means you were poor as hell.” The actor now owns a 330-acre studio that is bigger than Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, and Sony combined. “Ownership changes everything,” he says. Thanks to advice he got from Oprah, Perry owns the entirety of his creative output, and his net worth now sits at $1 billion.(Forbes) “I mostly go on my gut and my instinct. I like to challenge the system and see what I can do differently.”
Bigger in individual size. If that's how it works, I can claim my backyard is bigger than mc'donald's and starbucks combined.
I can't watch that Madea crap, but the dude is brilliant. He was excellent as the lawyer in "Gone Girl" and who knew the guy was a serious actor? And the risk he took on that studio. Amazing dude.
I find it inspiring to read such stories because it proves that 1. a person can be successful in any field, 2. everyone has gone through their own difficult path and faced a lot of difficulties, 3. there is no need to stop if something went wrong - difficulties make us stronger. I generally believe that any source of inspiration can be useful if you want to become a real professional and if you want to make a profit by some non-standard methods. Real representatives of business are those who are willing to do a little more than everyone else. And here it is necessary to try first to understand how it meets your expectations. You never know where exactly you are waiting for success...
Fantastic. Guy knew his niche and stuck to it. Incredible success. I don’t find anything he does funny but I’m sure he could care less. Amazing story. Perseverance plus intelligence plus talent can pay.
