Anybody knows a free website where one can historically search for top stock gainers & losers based on Open/Close daily price?

There are lots of websites that are showing that but only for the current day (i.e. finviz.com). I do need to be able to go back at least few years.

  6. 1. You need a stock screener to see the top gainers and top losers, see at
    http://www.marketvolume.com/stocks/biggestwinners.asp?s=yearly
you may find best and worst stocks for various periods. It is free if yu do not want to customize screener.

    2. Historical daily quotes are free at yahoo finance.

Unfortunately, (judging from these responses) it seems that no one knows, or it doesn't exist.o_O
