I'm looking for a source to purchase downloadable analyst ratings for S&P 500 stocks in the past few years. That is, every individual rating (by legitimate analysts) for each of the 500 stocks.

Zach's seems to just have aggerate rating summaries.

TipRanks doesn't let me download it, just has it listed in tables and have to do a lot of clicks to get each one. Otherwise their prices aren't bad.

Benzinga likewise has it all in tables, and although it is easier to view, don't see anyway to download it, even if I purchased the pro version.

Thanks, I did come across this. Do you use it? What's the pricing like? They don't list costs on their website and I need to give them a phone number before they'll give a quote. Makes me think it'll be thousands of dollars.

  4. It's on my project list but have not gotten to crunching this data yet. Find out what their non-professional rate is and let us know.

  5. Check out Analyst Rating Network. It’s been a long time since I looked at them (~10 yrs) but I think they might have what you’re after. Fwiw, I found some small achievable alpha tracking ratings changes at retail latencies but not enough for it to be worthwhile. Hopefully you’ll have better luck in your (likely different) pursuit.
