    So today 2 headlines in the news. So the first reads the president is pledging to fix the wealth gap and just below that, well total contradiction...the $15 wage increase is totally out of the stimulus bill.
    Yep way to start pledging that fix. Fu$king hilarious

    Nothing but fu$king games and political garbage

    Simple question really, if the wealth gap can be widened, why can't it be narrowed?

    I can only imagine what the East Asian-Black, Indian-Black or Jewish-Black wealth gaps look like, but it seems the Fed didn't study those.

    The conservative white middle and lower classes are today's designated losers, and one suspects every policy is a vehicle to attack them.

    IQ and wealth are highly correlated as is hard work and wealth.

    Sadly some races have neither high average IQs or are known for being hard workers.

    So there will always be a wealth gap between races and also genders, as men are by nature motivated to work much harder than women (on average and even more at the extreme)

    If you leave out the bias, there needs to be an objective study on WHY there is a wealth gap. How do you fix something without knowing what the underlying causes are?

    You can't do an objective study that will be accepted by any significant % of decision makers. The issue is incredibly politicized.

    Good points. Actually most high earners know what to quit;
    Bill Gates quitting school MSFT + IRS data proves the point.
    Takes more than smarts; most medical doctors are very smart.
    Millionaire Mind bok [ Dr Stanley] proved they [MDs] are not a very big % in millionaires as a rule.
    Most millionaires made it in RE, stocks , thier business..................................................Most dont play the lotto LOL:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  8. The problem with the government is they are fixing the final cause, not the root cause.

    For instance, giving the community the fish (cash/welfare) but not teaching them how to fish (education/job,etc).

    That is why there is no "fix".

    Another example of the government coming to fix the problem it caused. Politicians wanting to make our economy a service economy by promoting off shoring manufacturing jobs, the tax system, etc causes a lot of this stuff. That and the fact that people rise to their own level of incompetence(mostly). Not everyone wants to work 80+ hours a week to get to another level. What someone else makes should be no ones business. The issue is the politicians are always using racism, inequality blah blah blah to divide the country.
