A genuine exercise in democracy, which we can all learn from, is happening in Crimea. Turnout is high and the people of Crimea are making their voice known. President Putin should be commended for stabilizing the situation on the ground, thereby enabling a fair vote.
Fair vote? At the point of a gun. I think not. Especially when the only two choices on the ballot are "Join Russia now" and "Join Russia a little later". Where is the option on the ballot for "No".
The brave people of Crimea have spoken. You may not like the result, but it is democratic, unlike the coup conducted by the neo-Nazi terrorists in Kiev.
Not sure if it's exDoper, but it's the same guy over and over again with different usernames, trolling the forum. Tomorrow, the ignore functionality comes back and they all go away.
The people of Kiev tossed out a brutal Russian-backed dictator who tortured and killed his own people while stealing millions in public money (for example - take of look at his mansion built from stolen public funds). While it is clear that Crimea has closer ties with Russia, no proper vote can be held when Russian thugs are roaming the streets hurting and killing anyone who rejects joining Russia. There is nothing Democratic about a vote where there is not any option to select "No, I do not want to join Russia" on the ballot.
And you managed to write that with a straight face did you ? LOL I don't suppose you even know what NGOs are, and who financed them in Ukraine. You are just an American, kinda like You are Just a Girl. Same meaning. Since Mainstream Propaganda works so hard to keep people like you from finding out why Putin has 70% approval rate. I'll just show you pictures of what democracy looks like, without the US DioBolt machines http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-03-16/exit-polls-confirm-93-voters-back-crimea-joining-russia
