This bartender is running around claiming to be the boss. It is sickening. I just hope the media keeps her in the news.

“Like I just introduced the Green New Deal two weeks ago, and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried.

“So people are like, ‘Oh it’s unrealistic. Oh it’s vague. Oh it doesn’t address this little minute thing,’ ” she added. “And I’m like, ‘You try. You do it. Cuz you’re not. Cuz you’re not. So, until you do it, I’m the boss.’ How about that?’ ”

"Yup. If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis.

Until then, we’re in charge - and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats."

She's scorching hot when her eyes aren't popping out of her skull. I am ok with that decision.

You say this like Trump is a decent alternative. Trump is a lot worse, dangerous to the world economy/peace/environment ( including the US ) and generally belligerent and destructive in nature. It's good that the Democrats are widening the conversation and introducing more diversity to politics. I don't have to agree with all her ideas to see the value in having people like her in the conversation, and as a bonus it has all you losers on here totally triggered and confused by it all. I've yet to see some of you openly fair and complimentary about any female politician or corporate leader. Shows your extreme negative bias about women. Makes zero sense when you give Trump unwarranted respect despite his many failings as a corporate leader and as the President.

  6. Like I’ve been saying all the long: Our forefathers believed Government was of the people, by the people, and for the people. The Government is supposed to derive their power from the people. In other words, the people are the utlimate boss according to the signers of the US Constitution. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to think otherwise.

The question is, who is the one that ultimately ends up getting schooled on this point? The people or AOC?

  7. You still haven’t figured out that business leaders are usually way more productive that career politicians or lawyers because many business leaders come from more competative environments and have to adapt and solve problems to make it. Trump is a world class executive as measured by his wealth (Being a multi-billionaire is a strong indicator of financial success), by his family (Trump has a model wife considered attractive by many and productive family members), and by his ability to be the first non-lawyer business leader to be elected to the Presidency in modern history, where others have failed.

If your mind is not welded shut to new ideas, consider stopping your parroting of biased media and comedian sources of information and do your own research. Look at Trump’s speeches. Read a business management and an economcs book. The more you understand business and economics, they more Trump’s actions will make sense to you. In addition, you will come to realize the Democratic platform left unchecked for long enough will cause economic hardships for their constituents, like in other long term Democratic controlled cities like Baltimore and East Chicago. Look at AOC with Amazon and the big missed opportunity for New York.

The Radical Left, whether it is the Democrats or Socialist Democrats have a platform based on creating victims so they can “help” them by redistributing income in exchange for votes. Why do you think we hear accusations of racism and sexism on almost a daily basis? Identity politics is a tool they use that divides groups people in exchange for a few more votes they hope. How about the methods the Democrats used to intimidate people such as Nathan Phillips walked into a crowd of MAGA hat wearing high school students banging his drum, the false accusations of Kavanaugh, or Smollett’s fake crys of racism? How about college campus intimidation against Covservatives or ANTIFA vandalism and attacks? Do you you really see yourself as against freedom of political expression? Do you condone violence and intimidation against students? The media has gotten you so bent out of shape, you would be embarrassed with yourself if you could see it. Open your eyes and mind, please.

Take the time to become more knowledgeable and to think for yourself. The time you invest in yourself will help you where ever you may be, including Canada.

  8. Actually, it's the American people.

The Constitution is not out-dated, but has become a relic due to its principles having been ignored so long that government pays it little heed now. America is going FULL COMMIE... only possibly to be averted if we have a 2nd Revolutionary War.

Your sense of awkward overconfidence about these topics doesn't impress me. You are talking to the wrong guy. I'm highly educated and not at all impressed by Trump and his track record. My personal bias is against guys who skirt the law stepping on people to get ahead, making liberal use of bankruptcy law to escape numerous failed businesses. What his most recent wife looks like is of no factor in how I evaluate a man or the woman herself; that says more about you then Trump that you would bring up such a superficial point like it matters.

The vast majority of Canadians think current day US a big joke that many Americans are embroiled in so badly they can't see straight; especially politics in your country. Trump is a failed President yet you can't see it. Given enough rope he'll deeply damage your economy trying to kill world trade.
