    I believe in this instead.

But instead of oneself doing the controls, a locking device and one's mentor or wife pushes the button. I bet trader would stop doing foolish or incorrect trades if beginning traders wore this.

Trouble with activation energy, you still control any outcome whether you actually do 100 pushups or eat quart of ice cream. And losing money is not enough pain to stop doing dumb. Most of the time people only change, especially men, when pain is great enough than to continue doing what they are doing. Use a cattle prod or tazer, and bet it take only once and trader changes bad habits.

It is kind of like 1700s? If you did something bad, town have you in stockades in middle of town so entire town would see you, at least back then, you'd stop doing it. Oh wait, they could boil you in oil, but then that pain be an ending of life and not to stop you from doing dumb again.
