Here comes the Yellen China visit PR stunt

  1. ALL a farce. ALL the world's a stage and the Politicians its actors. Go back watch the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. George Bush had a smirk on his face that said "we're gonna F u all all those who believe China will carry the world markets afterwards". Same message again different actor/actress!

    I highly believe them boyz will crash the market hard after LA 2024. It's the event ppl don't expect, a major market downturn after a G7 country hosts an Olympics event... (Usually when a G7 country does it like in 2012, the markets blossomed afterwards!)

    If Presiden Richard Nixon didn't visit China in 1972,
    the world would be very very different.

    Now China is very powerful.
    Because of Nixon's visit, many American politicians are trying to reach out to China.
    The recent Antony Blinken visit to China (after the China balloon to the US crisis) showed how powerful China is;
    China refused to have top military-to-military contact.

    Is the visit about Yuan vs the US$?
    Who knows, Yuan will be the world's dominant currency soon.

    Well if it's a PR stunt, you are certainly making sure it is by taking notice of it. LOL US politicians visit all kinds of countries all around the world all the time. Why are you only taking notice when a US politician visits China? LOL

    Two faced diplomacy as practiced by Joe Biden never works. Who is going to take you seriously, that you want good relations with that country when you go out of your way to bash that country publicly and take economic measures designed to hurt that country, China? The US is highly dependent on China now. Most of the raw materials including, rare earth minerals come from China. In the event of war, China will just cut access to raw materials and rare earth minerals to the US. This war over the super computer chips, where the technology to produce those chips are already out there, barring China does not help the US one bit. China has retaliated by taking aggressive steps to hurt US businesses in turn. They have also, started curtailing supplies of the raw materials used to make those US chips. Economic war is not the one sided thing the US always sees it. Even against Russia, the US and NATO are doing very badly, economically. The US dollar as a reserve currency, its days are numbered too.

    What's with this stupid notion that financial markets are in wny form or fashion linked to Olympic games? It makes zero logical sense, and the empirical evidence clearly speaks against such notion when looking at correlations of all historical events.

    Even China plays two faced diplomacy. Don't forget, China is highly dependent on the western markets for its economic survival. China's economy is already facing many problems right now. Rare earth cut-off is a political stunt. Rare earths are present all over the world. If demand is there other countries are ready. There is nothing that only China can provide for in this world. wake up and smell the coffee.
