My name is Luyanda Hadebe, a 24-year-old South African trader. I’ve been self-teaching trading since 2019, and after 5 years of dedication and commitment, I finally have a solid trading system. Below, I’ve shared links to my data on Notion, including daily records of two of my strategies and a record of my losses and non-trading days dating back 11 months.

I’m not asking for an investment—just a chance. I need $300 to take the FTMO Challenge, a trading evaluation program that allows aspiring traders to prove their skills. If I pass, I will gain access to a $50K simulation funded trading account, where I can trade without risking personal capital and share in the profits.

This opportunity means everything to me. Please, sir, I humbly ask for your support.

If one can’t earn $300 after 5 years of effort they are not worth investing in.

Don't judge me without looking at my data. If you did, you'd see that I was recording my demo account trades. It takes consistent practice to learn a skill, not just capital.

Let's assume you are genuine, and just young and inexperienced.

Why don't you just open an account with leverage and build up your capital?

Some broker have no minimums in funding and in trading size.

You can trade fractions and you can get leverage.
And because of this basic knowledge, unless you show some real money being made..

I wouldn't be here asking if I can do, and if you think honestly growing accounts sounds logical but we forget it requires 100% returns and making those return on bi-weekly basis is an unsustainable system and taking 6 months to take a $50 account to $100 is time consuming

Money is tight for me at that moment, but if other traders are willing to crowd fund, I can donate as well.

I think we've all benefited from someone throwing us a bone in life, when they had perfectly no reason to do so.

That’s truly kind and generous of you, and I deeply appreciate your willingness to contribute despite your own circumstances. Your words reflect a spirit of community and gratitude that is truly inspiring. It’s gestures like these that remind us of the power of kindness and paying it forward. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for being willing to support others when you can!

  9. If you have a solid trading system, as you believe, why start with FTMO?

Why not just raise $39 for the 5%ers “$5k account” evaluation, first?

They’re equally reliable prop firms. You’d qualify quickly, and fairly easily make the $300 from that $5,000 account, surely, and without getting into debt?

    Just a suggestion!

Exactly. Except that I don't think he mentioned paying back, I think it's more of a gofundme type of thing.

Or he could also open up with a broker like oanda, etoro, whatever available in SA... Fund it with 50, take it 300, withdraw, pay ftmo... There also challenges with lower entry.
