Should have taken the bus. But this is good for Bitcoin, less coins!

But seriously, I think most of these sudden deaths take their coins with them into the grave.

"Russian billionaire Vyacheslav Taran, the co-founder of Libertex and Forex Club, died after his helicopter crashed in good weather near Monaco on November 25. Taran was flying from Lausanne with an experience pilot in a single-engined H130 helicopter when it crashed at around 1pm. A 35-year-old French pilot was also killed in the crash, which took place near the resort town of Villefranche-sur-Mer."

Similar crypto millionaire sudden death happened yesterday:

"The co-founder of a cryptocurrency company has died 'unexpectedly' at the age of 30.

Tiantian Kullander, who co-founded the digital asset company Amber Group, passed away in his sleep, a spokesman for his firm said.

The father-of-one, named in the Forbes prestigious 30-under-30 list in 2019, died 'unexpectedly' on November 23. No further details were provided surrounding the cause of death."

But wait, it gets juicer. From the above link:

"Kullander's death comes just weeks after another young cryptocurrency millionaire died.

Nikolai Mushegian, 29, drowned on a Puerto Rico beach after tweeting that he feared the CIA and Mossad were going to murder him.

Mushegian had a history of mental health problems and his family do not believe there was any foul play.

In a tweet hours before he died, he said: 'CIA and Mossad and pedo elite are running some kind of sex trafficking entrapment blackmail ring out of Puerto Rico and Caribbean islands."

I bet you those are the handiwork of either Nikita or Jason Bourne. It's their new target, crypto multi-millionaire/billionaires.

Just when you think OP can't say anything more stupid. Anyways, I'll be on the lookout for helicopters that decide to jump out of windows. And I certainly hope commercial airliners don't join the trend.

So as both -- a Russian that criticized regimes AND a crypto bro --- puts his life insurance policy in the very high risk category.

Turning the thread serious, what are the chances these guys had a will and they disclosed their holdings and private keys??? When you are 30, you aren't thinking of dying, when you are a billionaire you may don't want to share your keys...

So my bet is on bunch of coins being lost...

  8. Yeah, they’re gone for good. That’s a perfect example of how boon can turn into bane.

    Talk about luck:

"The helicopter crash is still under investigation, and authorities have not indicated any possibility of foul play. France Bleu reported that a second passenger had been scheduled to fly aboard the airbus to Monaco, but had canceled last minute."

Was this dude a nice guy? He ripped off Russian investors in 2018 per the Russian authorities.
