Fools. First off this will get 100000 signatures, however it's never going to happen. How about another idea you dumb fools, move Superbowl Sunday to Superbowl Saturday.... After a night of indulging, the day after the Super Bowl is known for office-wide hangovers and an uptick in "sick days." This year though, one company thinks there is a better way to follow the most widely watched football game of the year. On Wednesday, Heinz launched a petition to turn the Monday after the big game into a national holiday. If Heinz reaches its goal of 100,000 signatures, the company will send the petition to Congress. http://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/25/hein...-is-the-worst-gives-everyone-the-day-off.html
I know that's a very very sarcastic response so I'm going to laugh and cheer and say they are very very overworked ...
Day after the superbowl definitely should be a national holiday, or atleast a trading holiday i can honestly say i have traded exactly zero post superbowl days
We have so many holidays already! What will happen when football is no longer the top sport, imagine if we had the day after World Series as holiday?
I am sure that if or when football stops being the top sport people will come up with other reasons to have a holiday.
I wonder what his constituents think about him making this suggestion. We have a 20TN dollar debt, declining cities and the best this fool can do is suggest a holiday for football? No wonder we are in trouble. Anyhow, football is on its way out. Ratings are dropping from year to year and fewer kids are playing Little League football. More are playing soccer. When your sport gets more publicity from the issues with concussions and the criminal behavior of its players than the game itself, your days are numbered.
