    I have a question for you guys. I'm interested in starting a very small hedge fund with my own money. I've been trading well for a while.

    My question is this I understand how to trade on a small account 100k, but I'm interested in learning how to manage a large fund. I'm interested in different techniques on managing large funds. I realize that there's a big difference in trading 100k and managing 10 million

    I was wondering if anyone could recommend any quality books on how to manage a hedge fund.

  2. There are none.

  3. Contact some existing hedge funds and read their promotional literature, talk to their sales people. Learn from the competition.

    hi lasner,

    Not sure if you need biz/tax structure setup, but if you do there may be some good info here;

    It seems to me the big difference between trading and having a hedge fund with greater amounts of capital in the market are the 'hedging' techniques. I've browsed quite a few websites from various funds and sometimes a general overview of their money management policy can be found there or in the prospectus, etc.

    good trading!
