Has anyone taken Doc Severson's Options MD course?

  1. I am going back and forth on this as I enjoy his free webinars but cannot find any genuine, impartial reviews online about Doc Severson's Options MD mentoring program. Has anyone taken it recently, speaking to the quality of the material included?

    Thanks

  2. You're not going to get any help here. Napoleonic Law... your one post nick makes you guilty until proven innocent. It's more likely (than not) that you're this Doc S. guy.

  3. Fair enough, and a reasonable response.

I used to trade forex for about four years and my nick was pretty well known on Babypips and Forex Factory. But I can't claim to be a veteran of this board, I just registered here to read as many options forums as I could since embarking on this 6 months ago.

  4. was that the band leader on the Tonight show?

  6. the only mentoring i would pay for is from a guy like filthy and those guys don't mentor...they trade. when you're starting out and all serious it's easy to justify an investment like this, but it's not worth it. you can learn more on your own if u persevere and the money u save can be used for trading.

  7. Generally speaking, I agree with this idea. For four years I traded forex and never paid a cent for any kind of course or mentoring; I just read everything I could for free and spent a lot of time on forums. But I also wasted a lot of time (the first three years, actually) chasing indicator-based systems and crap like that.

Options are quite a bit more complex than FX and I've only been at it for a few months. I was just wondering if the mentoring was any good it might save me any more long, painful process-of-elimination-type suffering in this new field.

In case you didn't pick up the inside baseball, "Filthy" is Euan Sinclair. You can find his books on Amazon and he uses that memborable nickname on the Wilmott Forums and perhaps elsewhere.
