Has anyone heard of Disk Trading Ltd. for historical NQ data?

  1. I'm a newbie e-mini trader, still trying to come up with some strategies, and I've been searching for at least a year's worth of NQ intraday 5-minute bar data for backtesting purposes (I'm not high-tech; I'm looking for data that I can upload into Excel). My goal was to find it for free, or $50 bucks tops.

After some searching over the web (and going through these threads), I found a site at http://disktrading.is99.com/disktrading/#top. I emailed them and they said that they would sell me what I was looking for, going back to 1/2000, for $15.

Getting over 3-yrs of 5-minute intraday NQ data for $15 seems almost too good to be true. Has anyone ever purchased from these guys? I don't want to end up sending my CC info into a black hole.

    Thanks!

    Rolegario,
don't be afraid, you can invest 15$ in YOUR company.

  5. I just received the full CD set from Disk Trading. They are legitimate. I too shared your concern at first but after emailing the founders I was impressed with their operation. Also you can request particular formats to the data, specific date and time formats, etc. I'm a satisfied customer.

  6. Thanks. Based on the quality of their website I was getting the impression it was two guys in their mom's basement.

I just ordered some data from Disk Trading. If it turns out to be good quality (as you guys indicate) then they have to be the best value around for historical data.
