I bet all the FN talking heads are vaccinated anyway. They are evil, not stupid:

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ovid-urges-viewers-take-it-seriously-n1274470

"SEAN HANNITY: "Please take Covid seriously. I can't say it enough. Enough people have died. We don't need any more death. Research like crazy. Talk to your doctor... I believe in science. I believe in the science of vaccination."

I never understood why killing off their own voter base is a good policy??? They lost Georgia due to Covid. If they keep going with the denial, more states will be lost due to less morons...

More likely the White House told FOX News that there would be significant consequences for continuing to push anti-vaxxer nonsense. All the FOX Hosts including Hannity all changed their tune on the same day.

Despite the denials coming out of FOX --- it is pretty clear that the Biden administration got out the paddle and beat FOX's rear until they complied.

Fox News Denies Story Claiming ‘High-Level’ Talks With White House on Covid Coverage
    https://www.mediaite.com/news/cnns-...vel-talks-with-white-house-on-covid-coverage/

CNN reported on Tuesday that there have been “regular, high-level conversations” between the Biden administration and Fox News over the network’s covid-19 coverage. Fox News denied that report and a CNN correspondent said later in the day that “both sides have subsequently disputed the discussions were” high-level.

Fox has gotten a lot of attention for anti-vaccine commentary by hosts like Tucker Carlson. In recent days, others on Fox News have encouraged people to get vaccinated.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and Brian Stelter reported Tuesday on talks between the network and the White House:

There have been regular, high-level conversations between the White House and Fox News regarding their coverage of the pandemic and vaccines, a source familiar with the talks tells CNN…

The person who confirmed the conversations cautioned there has been no singular conversation that has played a role in Fox’s coverage of Covid-19. Throughout the pandemic, officials have regularly reached out to Fox News about their Covid-19 coverage. While White House officials often reach out to television networks and other news outlets about their coronavirus coverage, but this outreach is notable given Fox News’ past coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fox News denied the report in a statement provided to New York Times media correspondent Michael Grynbaum.

“CNN’s reporting is inaccurate,” the statement said. “There have been no high level conversations between FOX News Media and the White House regarding our coverage. We had one routine briefing with the White House in early May on vaccination rates and our DC bureau personnel are regularly in touch with them on a variety of issues, as is the case with every other network.”

Hannity has been saying that since the beginning. Your posting is way late to the party.

  4. I hope this is not true because I really do no want the government having meetings with media corproate to direct them what to say or not say. If they are saying stupid shit or inaccurate they can simply respond factually through their office or let the other side handle it (i.e. CNN or MSNBC). It is fine if the White House wants to reach out to discuss their coverage of something but it should not be done with any stick or carrot pushing it.

Does FOX News really want to be on the receiving end of a White House coordinating campaign dispelling FOX's anti-vaxxer nonsense on a daily basis -- having administration officials mock FOX while cutting them out of press briefings & other meetings?

I think FOX News was told what a what "responding factually through their office" and letting "the other side handle it" was going to look like. Including images of COVID graveyards interposed with "brought to you by FOX News" posted everywhere plus human interest stories from many people along the lines of "FOX News anti-vax propaganda killed my mom/dad/grandma/grandpa/etc. who watched FOX News regularly & died of COVID".

It was enough to change the messaging of nearly all FOX News commentators overnight -- with the exception being Tucker Carson who appears to be just avoiding mentioning it in recent days.

He has always taken it seriously---never called it a hoax. He has always stated to follow the science and talk to your doctor.--One thing I am not is a liar. I only deal in truth and common sense.

No one on fox ever said 'dont get vaccinated'

they simply say its your choice and it shouldn't be mandated.

    that is all.

Which is a contrast to cnn msdnc, us vs them lets pit americans against each other.
