I've been educating young people (and sometimes adults) my entire life, and if trading continues to click as it has lately, I'm likely to resume doing so on a deeper level, which might include some mentoring. Just in case, it would be nice to have resources on handling money all in one place, hence this thread.

Since this Community Lounge is supposed to be for chit chat, it's fine with me if folks interact with each other in whatever way they wish (within forum guidelines, of course). But, as for me, I'm not likely to respond to any comments I regard as being on the negative side or that simply don't pique my interest (should anyone be puzzled by my "silence").

That said, since people often think the way you show you care about them is by sharing your wealth with them (assuming you have a lot of it), and I might someday be in a position to support others as they transition into adulthood, I would refer them to this video for an explanation as to why I opt not to...

    THE PARETO DISTRIBUTION

The Pareto distribution, named after the Italian civil engineer, economist, and sociologist Vilfredo Pareto, is a power-law probability distribution that is used in description of social, quality control, scientific, geophysical, actuarial, and many other types of observable phenomena.

Vilfredo Pareto originally used this distribution to describe the allocation of wealth among individuals since it seemed to show rather well the way that a larger portion of the wealth of any society is owned by a smaller percentage of the people in that society. He also used it to describe distribution of income.

Pareto Distribution: A very tiny percentage of people in a given society produce almost all the output (which is why pure socialism ultimately never works and must always be supported by some type of capitalistic elements).

Maxwell makes the point that money is not the main thing, but he doesn't really go on to clarify exactly what it is, which other presentations given by him (not to mention a couple delivered by Tony Robbins) would seem to suggest it's knowing one's purpose in life.
