First some thoughts... In the United States you are free to peacefully protest in support of the Palestinian people anytime you want. However if you protest today, the day Hamas has called for "A Global Day Of Jihad" then you are telling the world you SPECIFICALLY support HAMAS and that you SPECIFICALLY support what HAMAS did on October 7th. You are telling the world you are on the side of Islamic terrorists. There is no escaping that.

Large protests break out in Middle East as Israel-Hamas war escalates

Tens of Thousands of anti-Israel protesters took to the streets in the Middle East on Friday in answer to Hamas' call for a "Day of Rage."

Large numbers of Yemenis gathered in the streets of the capital Sanaa protesting in solidarity with Gaza after weekly Friday prayers.

The demonstrators showed support for Palestinians as Israel continues to bombard the Gaza Strip with retaliatory airstrikes after Hamas massacred more than 1,300 Israelis in a horrific terror attack Saturday.

At the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem's Old City, Israeli police were permitting only certain older men, women and children to enter the sprawling hilltop compound for prayers, trying to limit the potential for violence. Only 5,000 worshippers made it into the site, the Islamic endowment that manages the mosque said. On a typical Friday, some 50,000 perform the prayers, the Associated Press reported.

In Beirut, thousands of supporters of Lebanon's Hezbollah militant group waved Lebanese, Palestinian and Hezbollah flags, chanting slogans in support of Gaza and calling for “death to Israel.” The Iranian-backed militant group in neighboring Lebanon has launched sporadic attacks since the Hamas assault, but largely stayed on the sidelines of the war.

Large demonstrations were also reported in Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and other Middle Eastern nations.

US ‘deeply troubled’ as Israel plans to approve thousands of homes in West Bank

The United States says it is “deeply troubled” by the Israeli government’s tabling of plans to approve thousands of building permits in the occupied West Bank and has called on Israel to return to dialogue aimed at de-escalation.

The plans for approval of 4,560 housing units in various areas of the West Bank were included on the agenda of Israel’s Supreme Planning Council that meets next week, although only 1,332 are up for final approval, with the remainder still going through the preliminary clearance process.

UK government expected to table bill banning boycotts of Israeli goods
“We will continue to develop the settlement of and strengthen the Israeli hold on the territory,” said finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, who also holds a defence portfolio that gives him a leading role in West Bank administration.

Most countries deem the settlements, built on land captured by Israel in 1967 as illegal. Their presence is one of the fundamental issues in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
