It is a long story, but make an effort to read it and you will not be disappointed. First how the story of the hoax started. Spanish researcher thinks he can find graphene oxide in Pfizer vaccine under the microscope Spanish professor Pablo Campra Madrid of the University of Almería in Spain has examined the Comirnaty vaccine (Pfizer/BioNtech) using a transmission electron microscope. He published his findings in this preliminary report (Informe Provisional). It is not a peer-reviewed scientific publication, not even a finished study. In addition, his data comes from only one sample examined. The preliminary report itself says that it is necessary to examine a larger number of samples in order to draw definitive conclusions. The researcher himself says that microscopy cannot provide conclusive evidence. It is only a possibility that the observations would be correct. According to ResearchGate, the lead researcher is not a vaccinologist, but has a PhD in chemistry. He calls his current fields of expertise “agronomy” and “agricultural philosophy”. Moreover, we find nothing about magnetism in the informal report. The researcher often has original perspectives. According to ResearchGate, he previously distinguished himself with a study on the tumor-fighting properties of gazpacho (cold tomato soup). Spanish website sees explanation for “magnetism”. The research was picked up by a Spanish website that claims to embody a movement for free and critical thinking. The website has little journalistic credibility. She sees it as her mission to spread topics that are “outside the censorship”. The website also pays an astonishing amount of attention to graphene and graphene oxide. In a video from that organization, two presenters claim that the vaccine contains toxic substances. They say graphene oxide is highly toxic and could lead to blood clotting and death. The presenters believe that the presence of graphene oxide explains why some people claim they experience "magnetism" at the injection sites. Only: there is no evidence for that magnetism and there is no graphene oxide in the vaccines. Meanwhile, the investigation and the video from the Spanish website have already been picked up by a Dutch website and an American online TV program. Their conclusion is firm: “The vaccines are toxic and this research proves it.” The American conspiracy theorists even go so far as to claim that the vaccines consist of 99.9% graphene oxide and that the makers deliberately want to kill people. No, there is really no evidence of magnetism at the injection sites A sample of the UNamur showed that there is no magnetism, but that objects can stick due to glue residue, sweat and sebum. It is equally possible that metal objects (temporarily) stick to the arms of people who have not been vaccinated. There is no evidence for magnetism caused by vaccines, so the presence of graphene oxide cannot explain it. Graphene oxide is not used in corona vaccines Graphene and graphene-based materials have become extremely popular in recent years due to their special psychochemical properties. In the medical world, graphene oxide is already used in cancer treatment, for drug delivery and in medical imaging. Graphene oxide could play an important role in the future, especially in immunotherapy against cancer. (cf. Surface-engineered graphene oxide serves as novel vaccine adjuvant for cancer immunotherapy) Graphene is currently not being used in vaccines against Covid-19. However, there is no indication that the use of graphene oxide would be fatal, as the Spanish website claims. (Cf. Recent progress of graphene oxide as a potential vaccine carrier and adjuvant, Assessment of the toxic potential of graphene family nanomaterials) The substance could be used in the future in the production of vaccines, but at the moment there is no vaccine with graphene oxide approved by the European Union. mRNA vaccines do indeed need an “encapsulation agent”. The Comirnaty vaccine uses Messenger RNA to make the human body produce antibodies. Contrary to what some claim, this mRNA does not modify the DNA of the cells themselves. It provokes an immune response because the cells start to produce spike proteins, just like in an attack by viruses. The production of those proteins in turn triggers the production of antibodies. The mRNA used is in itself very unstable. Therefore, the mRNA must be encapsulated with other substances to protect it and allow the mRNA to be absorbed by the cells. The long and negatively charged mRNA strands would be difficult to penetrate into the cells on their own and would be broken down by enzymes on their way. (cf. Without these lipid shells, there would be no mRNA vaccines for COVID-19) Nanoparticles are used to protect the mRNA. These are particles with a size between 1 and 100 nanometers. Due to their very limited size, they are able to deliver the mRNA directly to the cells. Nanoparticles can consist of various substances such as gold, aluminum and fat, but also of graphene oxide. Pfizer uses fats instead of graphene oxide The manufacturers of the Comirnaty vaccine use lipid nanoparticles to encapsulate the mRNA. These nanoparticles consist of different types of fats and must give the mRNA stability and structure. The use of lipid nanoparticles and mRNA has been approved for medical use by the US Food and Drug Administration since 2018. In addition to the vaccine developed by Pfizer/BioNtech, only the Moderna vaccine uses the same lipid nanoparticles. The other two EMA-approved vaccines Janssen and AstraZeneca work differently. They do not use mRNA, but neutralized cold viruses to make the body produce antibodies. The ingredients list is public and is checked several times The package insert of the Comirnaty vaccine has been made public since its approval. All ingredients of the vaccine are clearly listed in the package leaflet. That leaflet can simply be found on the internet via this link, among others. That list of ingredients was confirmed by the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). They ensure the quality, safety and effectiveness of medicines and health products in Europe. So it's not just Pfizer and BioNtech who claim that only these ingredients are in the vaccine. Annick Mignon, Senior Manager Medical Lead for Belgium and Luxembourg at Pfizer says: “Each batch of the vaccine is extensively checked for quality and composition, both during production and on the end product. All traces of possible contaminants in the components or that may arise during the production process are also checked. Finally, before being released for use, each batch of vaccines undergoes quality control with component analysis by an externally recognized laboratory such as Sciensano. The testing and analysis methods have been reviewed and approved by the EMA.” Graphene Oxide Can Be Slightly Magnetic (But No, Not So That Keys Will Stick to Your Arm) Graphene oxide can indeed exhibit some form of magnetism when first brought to room temperature. This is a weak “superparamagnetism”. This means that the charge of the particles changes under changes in temperature, creating a magnetic field. That magnetism is temporary and weak. If graphene oxide were used in vaccines, it seems impossible that this effect could make the upper arm magnetic for a long time. So the Spanish website's claim that graphene oxide vaccines will "make future generations magnetic" is completely nonsensical. And again: there is no evidence at all that graphene oxide is present in the current corona vaccines. Conclusion: no statement can be substantiated If real graphene oxide is found in Comirnaty vaccines, it would mean that Pfizer is spreading vaccines with an unapproved composition. But the Spanish researcher himself admits that he actually has no conclusive evidence. Pfizer uses fats to encapsulate the active ingredient, not graphene oxide. There are no solid arguments to believe that there is graphene oxide in vaccines, much less to assume that graphene oxide is responsible for the supposed "magnetism" at the injection site. I also added a link to the original report made by the spanish professor!!! Most interesting are: PAGE 22: CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS 1. The microscopic study of the sample provides solid evidence of presenceof graphene derivatives, although microscopy does not provide a conclusive proof. The definitive identification of graphene, oxidized graphene(GO) or reduced oxidized graphene (rGO) in the RD1 sample requires the STRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION by analyzing spectral patternscomparable to those published in the literature and to those obtained fromof standard sample, obtained with spectroscopic techniques such as XPS, EDS,NMR, FTIR or Raman, among others. 2. The analyzes in this report correspond to ONE SINGLE SAMPLE, limited in total volume available for processing. It is therefore necessary to carry out ameaningful sampling of similar vials to draw conclusions generalizable to comparable samples, recording origin, traceability andquality control during storage and transport prior to analysis. PAGE 23: Disclaimer The results and conclusions of this report do not imply position.institutional one of the University of AlmeríaNeither the Principal Investigator nor the University of Almería assumeany responsibility for the content and opinions of third parties on thepresent report from its possible dissemination on social networks or mediacommunication, nor of the conclusions that may be drawn from it that have been made explicit in the text. So the professor does not confirm anywhere that the vaccines exist of graphene, he also does not speak about 99% graphene, and magnetisme is mention NOWHERE in his report. All these things were made up by journalists who wanted to write a spoectacular and shocking article.
