That's the story and it's generally corroborated in the document, but I don't have the answers. I had heard stories from my dad and grandmother, but thought it was hyperbole. G-dad was a stone-cold killer. I think the final drop was the week of the Normandy landings. He worked at what is the equivalent of a NOC all over Europe during the Cold War. Our family has a pic of Mussolini hanging in Milan. The pic was taken by my granddad from 20 feet away. I will post a scan of the pic if it's here. My dad was USSS and CIA (as well).
My wife's family member was in Asia for many years. After that he/she came back and "sold insurance"...He/she was on the golf course most of the time!!
