Good Question

  1. Anyone have a good answer on this one???

The Democratic leaders of Congress knelt in the halls of Congress for about 9 minutes, for the death of a black man named George Floyd and other persons.

I have never seen them kneel for a fallen Police Officer.

I have never seen them kneel for a fallen Soldier.

I NEVER SAW THEM KNEEL FOR THE SOLDIERS THAT HILLARY AND OBAMA LEFT TO DIE IN Benghazi!!

I have never seen them kneel for the thousands of (black and white) babies aborted EVERY DAY.

I have never seen them kneel for a murdered white man or woman.

I have not seen them kneel for the thousands of black-on-black murder victims.

I have not seen them kneel for the thousands of elderly people that died in nursing homes due to the CoronaVirus.

I have to ask: WHY are Democrats putting the life of George Floyd as more valuable than the lives of everyone else?

In fact, Democrats have put so much value on the life of George Floyd, they have allowed rioting, looting, arson, murder, and mayhem in communities Nationwide...

    ASK YOURSELF - WHY NOW?"

IF YOU HATE AMERICA, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS.

The family (brothers and sister) of George Floyd opened a Go Fund Me account to "help the family"? It has already raised $14,455,100.00 and is still counting from donations as of June 22, 2020. Yes, almost $14 1/2 MILLION.

This is for a guy who was arrested NINE times; was a convicted drug dealer (and at a drug deal the day he died); held a gun to the stomach of a pregnant lady while his five buddies robbed her home; did prison time three different times totaling about eight years, and obviously didn't learn from our penal system. And America is memorializing him by painting murals of the guy on the sides of buildings like he's a hero? Unbelievable!! You gotta be kidding me.

Crime does pay! .....and to pour salt in the wound, Pelosi presented his brother a folded American flag flown over the Capitol in his honor in a beautiful tri-cornered presentation case.

The kneeling was a show of solidarity for George Floyd as the officer that appeared to have cause his death knelt on him for about nine minutes. The injustice of an officer using excessive force after handcuffing and ignoring the repeated pleas of George Floyd and at least one bystander should concern us all.

I have never seen them kneel for a fallen Police Officer.
Fallen officers get recognition through the naming of highways near where they died.

I have never seen them kneel for a fallen Soldier.
Fallen soldiers get recognition through national holidays and associated events that are attended by politicians of both parties.

I NEVER SAW THEM KNEEL FOR THE SOLDIERS THAT HILLARY AND OBAMA LEFT TO DIE IN Benghazi!!
I have no doubt that Hillary and Obama are haunted by Benghazi, just as Trump is haunted by Coronavirus. I suppose when a politican makes an error that results in the deaths of others, they want to distance themselves from that event as much as possible. Unfortunately for Trump, the Coronavirus pandemic is ongoing. In all fairness to Trump, most leaders would have not been able to navigate the economic issues and the need to irradicate this virus.

I have never seen them kneel for the thousands of (black and white) babies aborted EVERY DAY.
Getting silly here. Why would anyone with a pro infanticide policy pay tribute to the victims of that policy? I use the word “Infanticide” loosely here.

I have never seen them kneel for a murdered white man or woman.
Murdered Whites, men, and women are not an exceptional event to anyone outside the murdered sphere of influence. Again, the difference maker with George Floyd is he was seemingly killed, as shown on video, under horrific circumstances, by a public servant sworn to serve and protect the public.

I have not seen them kneel for the thousands of black-on-black murder victims.
Not enough time in the day, is there? The manner of George Floyd’s death was so exceptional that exceptional recognition is in order. Is it not?

I have not seen them kneel for the thousands of elderly people that died in nursing homes due to the CoronaVirus.
Oopsy daisy. I can well imagine a certain political party who is known to be not afraid of politizing events getting behind this one. Then again, the handling of Coronavirus treatment in New York City caused needless deaths, so maybe any politicizing could go both ways.

I have to ask: WHY are Democrats putting the life of George Floyd as more valuable than the lives of everyone else?
The above mischaracterization of why we should recognize the death of George Floyd is an attempt to minimalize the seriousness of racism and abuse caused a few in law enforcement.

In fact, Democrats have put so much value on the life of George Floyd, they have allowed rioting, looting, arson, murder, and mayhem in communities Nationwide...
I can understand some tolerance given towards vandalism, given the serious of the ongoing problem with the illegal and immoral law enforcement practices of a few. However, those who destroy another’s livlihood or harm someone are being hypocritical to their cause and should be punished, along with their political enablers or should I say, in some cases, co-conspirators. Then again, those politicans who don’t get behind this issue are effectively condoning the illegal practices of a few bad law enforcement officers and thus might be looked at as enablers or co-conspirators as well.

    ASK YOURSELF - WHY NOW?"
There is no “Why now”. There is almost always immediate public and social reaction to great social injustices. A more reasonable question is why the Republicans are not more on board with the general population on this issue?

IF YOU HATE AMERICA, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS.
Could not a competing slogan be: IF YOU HATE SOCIAL INJUSTICE, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS?

The family (brothers and sister) of George Floyd opened a Go Fund Me account to "help the family"? It has already raised $14,455,100.00 and is still counting from donations as of June 22, 2020. Yes, almost $14 1/2 MILLION.
Might not this seemingly large amount be an indication of the great importance of what happened to George Floyd has in the mind of the American people?

This is for a guy who was arrested NINE times; was a convicted drug dealer (and at a drug deal the day he died); held a gun to the stomach of a pregnant lady while his five buddies robbed her home; did prison time three different times totaling about eight years, and obviously didn't learn from our penal system. George Floyd’s criminal history is irrevalent here. He was subject to excessive force for almost nine minutes after he was handcuffed that either was his primary cause of death or at least contributed to his cause of death while he and bystanders pleaded with the officer to stop. In what way did this officer’s actions concerning George Floyd contribute to the furtherance duties of his job after Floyd was handcuffed?

Crime does pay! .....and to pour salt in the wound, Pelosi presented his brother a folded American flag flown over the Capitol in his honor in a beautiful tri-cornered presentation case.
Hey, it probably wasn’t easy to find an unburned American flag! At least the Democrats still consider it an honor to the present the American flag to the family members of the fallen. The fallen caused by the reprehensible act of a public official, that is.

Injustice is an understandably emotional topic by many. It is understandable for those groups who reasonably perceive they are subject to repeated injustices to protest. If the media engages in biased reporting, then they should be held accountable as well. What is not understandable is the lack of recognition of the seriousness of this issue by many of a certain political philosophy. Could it be many of them don’t believe Black lives matter? Could it be they don’t ever see themselves as being the subject of police abuse? Could it be they are ok with officers passing judgement and determining punshiment for repeat offenders because it is obvious the offender is useless anyway?

Bottom line is we need to hold people accountable for their actions. Whether it is law enforcement, protesters, politicians, the media, or ourselves. After all, we are all in this together and many of us have been directly affected by this issue in one way or another.
