Global Market Crisis Analysis as of Dec 5, 2021

If a war breaks out between China and USA in the Pacific, then the result will be:
    - Taiwan gets annexed by China.
    - The US will lose Guam and some other outposts in the Pacific region.
    - US Navy practically expelled from the Pacific.
    - Chip shortage will at least double b/c of the Taiwan crisis, s.a.
    - Most supply chains will be disrupted, consumer prices will soar, food shortages, product shortages, energy shortages, ...

If a war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine, then the result will be:
    - Half of Ukraine will be annexed by Russia.
    - Oil & gas, and energy prices in general will soar as some pipelines will be damaged by war activities,
and so some countries will be cut off from Russian oil & gas.

In any of these, hopefully non-WW, war situations all world stock exchanges, but especially Wall Street. will be down at least 1/3, ie. 33%, IMO.

Are you well prepped for such a scenario? Bunkered enough food, water, gasoline, as well a power generator etc. to overcome the supermarket shortages etc. during especially the first 3+ weeks of such a big crisis between the 3 world superpowers USA, China, Russia, and maybe even India as well?...

Regarding power generator etc., people should hurry up ordering such products in China before they get sold out... :p :D
You should have at least a solar power generator for your mobile devices... :D
Or a bicycle with a dynamo to charge your mobile devices... :D

    SUDDENLY OBSESSED
Doomsday preppers stock up on luxury survival kits, emergency food supplies and million-dollar bunkers

This was the year that coronavirus fears turned American shoppers into hoarders. There have been widespread shortages on products like toilet paper, hand sanitizer and flour as people prepared for the long stretches of isolation that have become commonplace during the pandemic.

But for one segment of the population, preparing for the worst was a way of life even before the pandemic. "Preppers" or "survivalists," as they're known, have been around for years, buying elaborate survival kits, yearlong supplies of nonperishable foods and even elaborate underground bunkers.

"Prepping is about PREparing for emergencies, not creating a supply shortage because you now suddenly need three boxes of N95 masks for your personal use," a moderator wrote in March on the r/Preppers forum on Reddit, which currently boasts over 208,000 members. Threads focus on everything from Covid and pharmaceutical drug shortages to the benefits of a gas lamps versus candles.

A January survey by personal finance site Finder.com found that 35% of nearly 2,400 people surveyed said they didn't need to buy supplies in the last year because they were already stocked up.

And the financial new website 24/7WallSt.com estimated in 2013 that there were then 3.7 million preppers in the U.S., comprising a market potentially worth billions of dollars.

Here's a look at some of the products that preppers stock up on, plus some big-ticket items that only the most extreme (or wealthy) preppers might spring for:

Bulk food supplies with a 25-year shelf life
ReadyWise is a leading brand in the category of "emergency food supplies," where truly committed preppers can spend upwards of almost $9,000 on a 4,320-serving supply of varied freeze-dried food pouches that the company says can last a single person over 500 days, or a family of four (two adults, two children) up to 126 days. The food even has a 25-year shelf life, so there's no need to dig in right away.

"Every day we have people that spend ... tens of thousands of dollars on emergency food...," says Brandon Eriksson, vice president of sales at Wise Company, which owns ReadyWise.

I'll be fine for several months anyway. After that I suppose I could hunt deer and fish. Very low probability scenario but I agree anything is possible. Rather than to predict specific events, I think it's best to simply acknowledge you don't know the future and have a baseline level of preparation and flexibility.

Then OP/Troll would have to find some other topic to display their ignorance.

    But you're right, absolutely right.

I think and hope Xi will be disappeared by the CCP before he triggers an invasion of Taiwan. The CCP survival is more important than Taiwan today, and the risk is too great that China will lose in a regional war that would pit it against all other nations in that region, except for North Korea.

JMHO, why would China break stride in its growth strategy for such an adventure unless it really had to? China is patient, and it looks like it has time on its side.
