If a war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine, then the result will be: - Half of Ukraine will be annexed by Russia. - Oil & gas, and energy prices in general will soar as some pipelines will be damaged by war activities, and so some countries will be cut off from Russian oil & gas. In any of these, hopefully non-WW, war situations all world stock exchanges, but especially Wall Street. will be down at least 1/3, ie. 33%, IMO. Are you well prepped for such a scenario? I think and hope Xi will be disappeared by the CCP before he triggers an invasion of Taiwan. The CCP survival is more important than Taiwan today, and the risk is too great that China will lose in a regional war that would pit it against all other nations in that region, except for North Korea.
JMHO, why would China break stride in its growth strategy for such an adventure unless it really had to? China is patient, and it looks like it has time on its side.
