German publication Stern is portraying Trump wearing an American flag and doing the salute, which is illegal in Germany. The caption reads “Sein Kampf,” which means “his struggle” — a reference to Adolf Hitler’s book “Mein Kampf,” or "My Struggle." “Neo-nazis, Ku Klux Klan, Racism: As Donald Trump stirs the hate in America,” a translation of the cover reads. Trump has faced harsh criticism for his reaction to violence at a Charlottesville, Va., white supremacist rally earlier this month. Trump blamed "both sides" for the violence, specifically faulting the "alt-left" counterprotesters who opposed the white supremacists. One counterprotester was killed in the clashes. Another German magazine, Der Spiegel, featured Trump wearing a KKK hood last week. The New Yorker and The Economist have both depicted Trump alongside a similar hood. “What about the alt-left that came charging at the — as you say, the alt-right?” Trump said days after Charlottesville, defending his remarks blaming both sides. "Alt-right" is a term that typically refers to a political ideology that mixes populism with white supremacy and anti-Semitism. “Do they have any semblance of guilt? What about the fact they came charging with clubs in their hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do. As far as I am concerned, that was a horrible, horrible day.”
Since the germans seem to hate us so much, why are we still subsidizing their defense budget? I realize they are a little strapped paying for all the muslim colonists, but seriously? Now that Trump is back in campaign mode, maybe he could take a closer look at NATO. As in why does an organization that was organized to protect fragile western european countries from the USSR still exist 30 years after the demise of the USSR? Why are we paying most of the costs and providing all the actually useful hardware when Europe is so rich and prosperous they can regularly lecture us? I would think the far left would be on board with getting out of NATO, since they were dead set against it when it was actually needed. Like Ron Paul said, if we are going to waste the money, why not waste it in our own country where it might actually help someone.
