Ge Earnings Tomorrow-neg Surprise With Subprime Exposure?

    I think ge has a bit of exposure to the subprime mess...we'll find out tomorow morning in their earnings report...could move the market.

    They were involved in subprime mortgages through their unit WMC Mortgage, I dont know if they sold it off, it was the 5th biggest subprime lender at the time.
     
  5. You'll see a lot of unhappy faces on CNBC anchors if their earnings shit the bed.. Sure, they have a lot invested in them in their 401k's. Wonder if they have a nice 2-1 matching contribution.
     
  6. They are usually extremely transparent, so I be surprised if they are hiding something.

  8. LOL, I usually have Bloomberg on late at night when I watch the futures, Asia, and Europe action. For some reason, I leave CNBC on during the day. Maybe cause their anchor woman are hotter. Usually on mute though.:D
     
  9. You got to have it on mute for Bartiromo, the most irritable person on daytime TV.
     
  10. I hear ya, when she whines along with douche Cramer, its very irritating. Then you have that studdering donkey Rattigan who needs speech lessons.
