Check GBTC and ETHE, both trading at a significant discount to Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin is at $47k while GBTC is at $38.5, a discount of about 18%. Ethereum is at $1,470 while ETHE is at $12.95, a discount of about 12%.
You should definitely buy, they seem to be incredibly cheap and a terrific value. As are bitcoin. At 47k they are a steal, just a dozen hours before the next ascend to 100k (cynical, and I stay far away from this entire space, though, in the full knowledge it may play out exactly like that)
Thanks, but I don't buy those, I buy the actual cryptos indeed. And I don't see Bitcoin at $47k as a steal right now, I would add more to my existing positions around the $30k-$35k if ever visited.
I would wait for sub 10k level. It is all Made up right now the whole rally fuelled by fake money, aka tethers. Tethers represented 80 percent of volume. We have no idea what BTC real value is.
You think if those assets go down to 10k that they will re-emerge? That's like saying I will buy Apple if it goes down to 50. If it goes down to such level then in a vast majority of cases its heading for bankruptcy or into extinction. Apple actually managed to be such exception in the past but it was due to a fundamental shift in management. If bitcoin touches below 10k I am pretty certain that it will mean it will be the end to its short existence.
It went from 17k to 3K (80% drop), on top of it, we saw 3K last March. Why do you think it is impossible for 58K to 10K (80% drop)? It is possible and even likely if Tethers are removed and cryptos can only traded in real $ and reputable audited stable coins. Right now, price can be pushed to any artificial level with monopoly money.
I am talking about now. And yes, immature assets jump all over the place, but I highly doubt that real money will endure an unrealized loss of such magnitude (if it traded down to 10k)and still maintain the faith of holding onto it or getting back in. Can I be wrong? Of course, but not likely.
