Hi friends, I'm looking for your suggestions for a suitable futures trading software on both windows desktop and iPhone. My criteria and needs are: 1) Able to use it on iPhone and the app provides the functionality to do charting (chart patterns, horizontal lines, diagonal lines, channels etc.) and indicators (RSI, moving averages, fibo etc.). Able to see multiple charts on the phone will be a bonus. - Example: https://cdn-com.gdmfx.com/sites/default/files/uploads/2015/01/iphone.png Will you think Team Viewer (i.e. app for remote desktop) will be a better alternative? 2) On desktop, software allows multiple charts on one monitor screen. - Example: http://i.investopedia.com/inv/articles/site/MT4-5.gif 3) As I'm going to monitor many futures markets (approx 60 to 100 markets), I will like to be able to split and view them on 3 monitor screens. As per 2) above, I'm looking to have something like 20 to 30 charts per screen and hence, that makes up about 90 markets in total. Moreover, squeezing all charts in one monitor screen compromises the quality in following the markets. Previously I've used Metatrader and I created multiple folders on my windows desktop so as to have different terminals for viewing multiple charts. As such, is there any software that allows charts across different monitor screens without creating multiple terminals? 4) Real-time data. I will need minimal delay in streaming quotes from broker / exchange. 5) Looking to trade all equity indices (including MSCIs, FTSEs and sector indices. Will not be trading single names futures), currencies (including emerging market currencies), short rates, bonds and commodities (agris, metals and energy). 6) No trading of options at the moment. But will be great if software provides functionality to view the greeks, vol surfaces, PL payoffs, other options' analytics. With that said, this is of low priority. 7) Able to view OTC markets. Will be great if software allows to view market charts from the non-deliverable / OTC space. I understand this requirement is difficult to meet as OTC data is hard and expensive to obtain. Hence, this is of low priority. 8) Will be trading manually. However, looking to automate strategies in the future. Hence, this is of low priority at the moment. Manual is more important. 9) Scanners, news and other analytics are good to have. However, accurate real-time data, good charting tools and good indicators are of greater priority. Good being defined as tools and indicators that are user- and optically- friendly on both desktop (greater priority) and iPhone (lower priority as I don't mind using Team Viewer to do remote desktop) 10) Looking to connect to all exchanges as we can tell that I'm looking to trade across many different markets and asset classes. 11) Am ok to pay fee for any software that is able to meet most of the requirements above. 12) Accurate graphical presentations of indicators across daily / weekly / monthly time frames. - For example, I noticed that the positioning of 200 and 400 simple moving averages relative to the security price on the weekly / monthly time frame are inconsistent across a few charting software. Daily time frame doesn't seem to have this problem. I am using Bloomberg and Reuters charts as the benchmark for accurate positioning of 200 / 400 SMAs relative to the security price. 13) Rich historical data. I think it would be really hard to satisfy our needs over one platform, however, I see that you used MetaTrader in your images. Consider MT5 You may need to find different data providers for the different asset classes (Futures, Forex, etc).

That is why you have Reuters and Bloomberg, MT isn't a real platform, TT we don't like the philosophy, CQG are not responsive to anything, eSignal data is a mess, we do POC in Tradestation because it's efficient. Team Viewer & MT and using Bloomberg & Reuters is an oxymoron, this can't be a real question. In trading you get what you pay for, it's just that simple.
You didn't understand the question and didn't provide a good answer either. Apparently, you don't understand the definition for the word 'oxymoron' as well. I suspect you did a brief read of my initial post and started ranting / complaining your invaluable input.
I don't need advice. Didn't ask for one either. Never did I try to ask, didn't I? I need solution. So what software or systems you using? You probably assumed I'm not subscribed to Bloomberg And Reuters.
Based on your request, it will be hard to find ONE solution that is great at all that. Patrick Rooney from TT offered a great solution. Your other choices would be CQG QTrader and CTS T4. You will have to balance what you want with what you need. then fill in with other software to meet your other needs. That many markets is not likely without an institutional account at a large international FCM and a very large account. Bob
