Has anyone on this forum inquired about setting up a prop firm for futures only? Just thinking out loud here, but for a futures shop or "arcade", you would need something similar to Velocity or GHCO, correct? Become a FCM ($250K+ min), set up various platforms (exchange fees), real time data providers, hardware (CPUs, servers, desks, etc), etc. Capital? $1MM +? What platforms would be essential? NYMEX Clearport, TT, CME, Eurex?? I understand it is not essential to become a FCM. What other futures shops are held in high regard, similar to Velocity? Any thoughts, ideas on this subject?
