Years ago I went to Ireland to visit an acquaintance. I brought gifts of some of my favorite American things. Among them were a few cans of B&M brown bread. He and his wife enjoyed it to a surprising degree. The next day he gave me a can of a similar product from Ireland, which was substantially better than what I had brought. I was humbled. I looked all over for a place that sold it so I could send some back home but could not find it anywhere. Then, while sitting at the kitchen table enjoying a slice and eyeing the can with wonder I realized I had been hypnotized. The label faded away to reveal a can of B&M brown bread whith a white piece of paper taped to it that read "Its Irish and its better than yours!"
