I'm thinking about to switch to IB and want to ask if there can be some problems, or maybe someone did this before and can explain me about his experience?

What is Lynx and why IB? Tell us what you trade, if you want to share.

  4. Indeed, it is TWS. Also, all orders from Lynx are routed through IB. I'm not sure if this is called reselling, rebranding or affiliate. I guess all terms apply.

Not an SEC registered BD. I guess that is why I was not familiar with them. If they introduce business to IB, you should not see a big difference unless they offer some service that IB does not, like the way we offer LVX.

  6. I've not switched to IB, but I have transferred positions from other brokers to IB and back. The backoffice at IB were great and very helpful with the position transfer.

If Lynx routes through IB, I say cut out the middle man and opt for IB.

  8. Lynx is an introducing broker to Interactive Brokers, mainly operating in the Benelux. I have done the same for a family member, cut out the introducing broker (it wasn't Lynx though) I remember this was fairly easy, and it saved a lot of money in commissions for them. There's no need to open a new account or switch from Lynx to Interactive Brokers, as the account is already at Interactive Brokers. Hope this helps.

Lynx is basically an Interactive Brokers reseller.... I think initially it's easier to setup an account with them instead of with IB, and maybe some lower introduction fees. Dutch only isn't it?
