Ok, They offer 20 free trades per mo. Anyone use them. Are they legit? What types of orders to the allow?
I have used them and they are legit, but I would stick with direct access for day trading. If you're swing trading and speed is not an issue, Freetrade is not a bad way to go. -Fast
you cannot contact them by phone. meaning, if you lose your inet connection or their platform fails during the day (that happens A LOT with ameritrade), and want to get out of a position, you cannot do so. also they do not accept international clients. ain't worth the risk for a few free trades a month.
no other fees but 50 is right, no phone contact, freetrade is run solely by computers, all trades must be done online
They offer 20 free trades per mo. Anyone use them. Are they legit? What types of orders to the allow? terms: market limit stop stop limit Good for : day market on close end of week end of month GTC specified date All or none do not reduce NYSE ,NASdaq otcbb neat
Yup, whole 9 yards unlike other brokers like Scottrade that does not offer half them options. No specified date though. But they also have after Extended hours trading in the morning and after hours for $10.00 per trade. I'm using them, only thing I can bitch about is many times their fill notifications take a few minutes to show up even though the trade executed immediately. So I would say they are fine for Daytrading but not acceptable at all for scalping.
I am a positional trader considering going from Ameritrade to Freetrade. Does anyone know whether you can place orders on ISLD or ARCA?
