What forum software are you guys using, or did you write your own? I like it. Have you ever used phpbb? How do you like the admin features of this compared to phpbb?
We use a highly modified version of a forum software called xenforo. It requires ongoing costs and quite a bit more technical expertise than other platforms, so if you're just starting out, you'd be way better off with something like phpbb.
It's about the same as it was under normal conditions. But when the site traffic gets heavy, xenforo handles it way better than vb used to.
