Forum Index Unread Posts

  1. How can i see unread threads and/or threads with unread posts in the forum index? Or do i have to click every sub-section now to see if there is new stuff?

There are several links in the blue bar at the top, one of which is "New Posts". You'll probably also like the one called "Followed Threads".

  3. I like the new visuals, but still, the index page has now less information than previously.. Maybe there is a way to somehow mark unread threads/posts on there? I am sort of used to scroll through the index page and click on threads from there..

Ok, I will work on getting that functionality programmed back in.

  5. "New Posts". yes, I like this, but, can Politics & Religion be amputated from the list, please. :)

No problem. That's done now. Actually P&R and Chit Chat will no longer appear in New Posts list.

  7. I'm not trying to bust your chops, but this was a big item on the last abortive redesign. Lots of people complained about not being able to just glance down the list and see what they had missed. I guess it doesn't seem like a big deal to you, but to a lot of users it was. I think a lot of us grab a minute here and there during the day and want to be able to check the site with one click.

I welcome change and over all i like the new look and features but..

i miss the yellow stickers that indicate new posts. The problem with the "New Posts" Tab is that every section is represented while only some interest me : i don't care about Programming and Options.

I liked to be able to click on Trading or Journals and see what was new in that section thanks to the yellow stickers....

Look, when I say I'm going to work on something and you come back with more criticism like I didn't even say what I said, it sure sounds like you're just trying to bust my chops.
