    LOL!

Has to be a joke. You can't get a Barret 50 cal for $2500, much less with any ammo! :)

Yes. I don't think they'll actually pull it off. If they do, they're asking for trouble. I wouldn't go back to that shit hole again for all the pussy in Brazil. I do want to talk to these guys though. We may have crossed paths a time or two. They need to just let it go for their own safety. I salute them for the effort though.

The only problem I can see with Fallujah and Ramadi falling, is the FACT that every damned war we've been in since Vietnam, results with the ultimate falling of the government we tried to help with.

We don't fight wars anymore. We fight with a shoe string amount of force, and after the politicians have had enough heat, they cut and run. In WWII, we had hundreds of thousands of troops involved, and the shit would always end pretty quick with us and our allies blasting to hell the bad guys, and coming home. Now we send about a hundred thousand troops to a country of millions, and have the audacity to think we can topple the bad guys.

I bet they're going through Barrett directly for some type of at cost pricing. Ronnie Barrett owes his fortune to the USMC for selecting his prototype for use in Desert Storm. After that, he became a very rich man. Last, I don't think the Barrett can even be made for less than $2,500 each.

These guys do sound like they're contemplating sneaking across the border, and I'm trying to get in touch with them now to give my opinion that it's a "solution," but one that comes with a body bag if they actually try to do it. We all have unfinished business in that Shit hole, but have to learn when to let it go. Is easier said than done, however...
