There is no evidence of voter fraud they said.

This again illustrates that libtards absolutely despise democracy. This is another example of a Democrat committing voter fraud and undermining democracy.

Former Congressman Charged with Ballot Stuffing, Bribery, and Obstruction

A former U.S. Congressman was charged Tuesday in an indictment unsealed today, with conspiring to violate voting rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections, bribery of an election official, falsification of records, voting more than once in federal elections, and obstruction of justice.

Michael “Ozzie” Myers, 77, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is charged with conspiring with and bribing the former Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division, Domenick J. Demuro. Demuro, who pleaded guilty previously in federal court in Philadelphia, was responsible for overseeing the entire election process and all voter activities of his division in accord with federal and state election laws.

“Free and fair elections are the hallmark of our system of government,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Brian C. Rabbitt of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “The Department of Justice has zero tolerance for corruption of the electoral process, and we will spare no effort in investigating and prosecuting those who would seek an unfair advantage at the polls by bribing state and local officials responsible for ensuring the fairness of our elections.”

“Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy. If only one vote has been illegally rung up or fraudulently stuffed into a ballot box, the integrity of that entire election is undermined,” said U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. “Votes are not things to be purchased and democracy is not for sale. If you are a political consultant, election official, or work with the polling places in any way, I urge you to do your job honestly and faithfully. That is what the public deserves, it is what democracy demands, and it is what my office will enforce.”

“Transparent and fair elections are integral to the proper functioning of our democracy,” said Special Agent in Charge Michael J. Driscoll of the FBI’s Philadelphia Division. “Those who seek to corrupt the vote threaten the public’s trust in the process and must be brought to justice. The FBI is determined to protect the integrity of our electoral system.”

  2. Dems have been committing voter fraud for dozens of years. Maybe from the beginning.

  3. Why does thos offend but this doesn't:

(Reuters) - The North Carolina Republican political operative at the center of an absentee ballot fraud scheme that led the state to order a rerun of a congressional election was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice on Wednesday, officials said.

All voter fraud is bad but seems you only care when Dems do it. It should be rooted out as it does happen all over. Thankfully no elections have been fraudulently won because this stuff gets rooted out and it is small in scale.

Both are equally offensive --- but your article is many months old. The Michael “Ozzie” Myers situation in Philly is from this week.

  5. Uh there was no fucking outrage those many months ago so why does it matter....only voter fraud committed recently by Dems gets people riled up but the GOP one? Oh that was months ago....we forgot about that already....don't bring up old stuff that makes the GOP also look bad....

ancient history...only voter fraud by Dems in 2020 matters....got it!

There are multiple long threads on the Leslie McCrae Dowless ballot harvesting for Republican candidate Mark Harris in the North Carolina House District 9 election in 2018. Some of the threads were started by me and many are lengthy. Feel free to review the lengthy discussion and add your thoughts. Here are some of the more complete threads.

The truly outrageous part is that prior to 2015 Dowless was a Democratic operative and did the ballot harvesting for Democratic candidates. Over a two decade period prior 2015 three complaints about the ballot harvesting performed by Dowless were filed with the Democrat-controlled state election board but all were ignored with no action. As soon as Dowless does ballot harvesting for a Republican campaign in 2018 then the Democrat-controlled election board finally takes action. As one political observer in our state put it "Dowless brought Democratic tactics to a Republican campaign".

Was this not the guy who was expelled from the house for taking money from a fake Sheik in an FBI sting at the beginning of the 80s?

What ballot was he stuffing at his age?

Are you trying to make the point that Democrats are simply whores that care only about power and money?

Does it not seem important that there have been numerous examples of voter fraud recently, that voter fraud is clearly an issue, and that proper policies should be put into place to stop voter fraud?

Sounds like the guy was running a local influence pedelling operation involving his crime family. Basically an amoral, anything that gets him money, brings him influence shit, like Trump who change parties something like five times.

He was expelled from Congress and served time for the bribary in the early 80s.
