"Trading" VPS are a scam. Any decent VPS will do fine and is cheaper. Colocation is nice but no retail person (with a retail broker) with a random VPS will care about 2-4ms latency improvement, it won't matter.
I also believe that VPS is a necessity when someone wants to trade without any delays and hassles; lets me run a number of automated trading strategies including EAs without much interruptions. I use Turnkeyforex’s VPS and easily get to avoid latency and can maintain platform connectivity. Avatrade’s VPS also works great against power outages and internet connections.
