I am actually going to side with Mr. Trump on this one, but only in the sense that it is perfectly fine to reflect on whether there is a better way to handle this. Nothing wrong with his sentiment at all unless you are a left wing loon, and we know who you are. For example, I don't see why the flag cannot be at full mast on inauguration day but then extend its being at half mast for Carter by another day so that he gets the full 30 days as is the custom. What's the problem with that? Also it would mean that ten seconds after Trump is sworn in the flag would start to be fully raised over the capitol and around the country. THAT TOO WOULD BE AWESOME MY FRIENDS. AWESOME. I am predicting that there would be a few USA chants from the crowds around the country. Dems, be careful what you wish for.
