So how about that ? I wouldn't mind to give it a try once I knew where to get it http://theweek.com/article/index/226196/how-electrical-brain-stimulation-can-change-the-way-we-think
A couple interesting things about the article. Well, not the article, but the author. I found it very difficult to relate to the article, because the author was constantly referring to self criticism and low self-esteem. I honestly can't really identify any of those things inside my head. While I fully recognize that I'm not the smartest guy in the world, or the most athletic, etc, I don't ever attempt a new task thinking that I'm going to be bad at it. Just the opposite actually. Until I fail at something, I always assume that I'm going to be able to do it. After failing at something, I become very focused and driven to figure it out. The other thing that struck me was that the author associated chemical drugs with addiction, but not this device. Even after she admitted to craving it after the initial effects wore off. It seems obvious to me that a device like this would be more addictive than meth. Made me think back to the movie "Limitless" and the drug NZT. Interstingly, the main character in that movie was also plagued by self-criticism and low self-esteem.
