Life is amazing, even the guy that should be working as a floor cleaner at Walmart becomes us senator. Bravo. -
Fetterman was a strong candidate before his stroke but was diminished thereafter and he still beat Oz by margins greater than Biden beat Trump. The truth is that it was Trump who screwed up so many of the the senate races, including PA. Look at the margin Kemp won by in GA vs where Walker is. Almost any other candidate than Trumps choice could have rode Kemp’s coattails to victory but now there is another runoff coming in GA.
Your disdain for the working class on full display, even the floor cleaners know how to choose a username without ALL CAPS.
Fetterman won, because Oz was a shit candidate. NJ resident who has made a career pushing snake oil on TV. I guess that's par for the course for the modern Trump endorsed candidate, but it's still shit to the independent-minded voter.
One of the few things I learned from poli-sci that has stuck with me 20 years later and proves true constantly is that America is designed to be in a constant state of revolution through the electoral process. We do see ever 2, 4 and 6 years…
I agree, I think this is an advantage. It also (for people who actually pay attention - which unfortunately isn't that many) allows stark contrasts of different approaches so we can see which methods work better than others. The downside is our influence on the world stage. World leaders are more hesitant to get into bed with us if our policies are changing materially from administration to administration. It used to be that R and D administrations followed regular policy, and had slight differences at the social level. Not anymore.
That's where our unified, profit-driven, military empowered meddling, interference, and warmongering come in.
