Based on Fed funds futures, we all know what they will do. But what do you want to see happen?

But we know the market will move (up or down or up and down or whatever).

So, you say you are "NOT interested" in interest rate... :D
Me neither! My strategy does not depend on IR.

My strategy doesn't depend on IR too.

My strategy depends on how the market moves.
If the market moves decisively/nicely/gracefully, then it is easy money for me.
If the market moves choppily/messily/whipsawing-ly, then high chance I will lose $$$.

I say get those rates higher.....

But the fed will bow to wallstreet like it always does.

  9. He has to keep the hawkish tone otherwise stupid things will happen. But the longer the FF rate stays higher, the deeper the cuts will be later on.

Not at all surprising. We all know they're a lagging indicator. We might smell the house burning but these folks choose to wait until they can actually see the fire.
