  1. After years of denial Romney promises to be 'different'.

    The selling of Mitt 3.0
Romney is promising he’ll be ‘different’ this time.

Shortly after Election Day in 2012, a Mitt Romney supporter moaned to POLITICO about the failed GOP nominee’s performance: “We had no message, and we gave it to the worst communicator in the world.”

Two years later, Romney is mulling another campaign for the White House, and this time, he says, things will be different.

In meetings with and individual calls to donors, supporters and former staffers, Romney is making it clear that he is likely to run, putting his time frame for a decision at “weeks, not months.”

Romney, who made a fortune in the financial sector and was cast by Democrats in 2012 as a heartless businessman, wants to make tackling poverty — a key issue for his 2012 vice-presidential running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan — one of the three pillars of his campaign. The former Massachusetts governor also says he’ll have a different communications staff and hopes to show voters a version of himself they didn’t get to see last time.

He'll be anything he has to be to get elected (like everybody else).

But it'll be a good test of just how stupid the Republican base has become.

We still need to test for that? How many chances do they get?

I don't believe he'd get elected - unless the democrats really screw up with their nominee. I mean, if the guy lost against Obama's 2nd term, he's got no chance. But that doesn't mean the GOP won't be dumb enough to nominate him.

He won't get nominated. Don't kid yourself.

  7. Romney versus clinton would be painful to watch. Two terrible campaigners trying to remember their talking points and pretending to be regular joes.

  8. Ted Cruz has it right. Romney, Christie and Bush are all answers to a question no one is asking, other than maybe the RNC. They might as well run that weasel Boehner.

Could you imagine a Romney Bush ticket? could their base be smaller or their coffers fatter? What a nightmare? But... I think they could beat Clinton... she might be the only person with a smaller base... but big media support and fat coffers.

how happy would the cronies be?

I might not even watch the election coverage... which in the past I really enjoyed.
Sadly, I really thought Romney could have been very good in the beginning. if he had just pushed a message and a anti tax agenda. The fact he did not know better and just took a beating for months and months as obama demonized him... makes me questing his competence.

At the moment I support a guy who might not even be a Natural Born Citizen.
I sure hope he runs and gets that question settled fast.

His supporters should fund Orly taitz as a false flag... because she was so dumb or so corrupt she managed to lose a hearing in which Obama's team did not show and she could have just taken the default.
