Excell

  1. Hello,
I have a question regarding Excell and I'm hoping there is a knowledgeable person on here that could help me.
I was using Yahoo as my EOD data provider. Yahoo uses a suffix of .TO on the end of their stock symbols to identify the exchange they trade on. I am now using Esignal as my data provider and they use a suffix of -TC to identify the exchange.
Using Excell I know there is a way to substitute one suffix for another but I don't know how to do it. Would someone experienced in using Excell please explain how to do this? Thank you.

    Kindest regards,

    Tim

Select the symbols and do the following:

Go to Edit => Replace (Ctrl+H)

    Find what: .TO
    Replace with: -TC

  3. Raver, thank you very much for the simple fix. It was perfect.
